King Abdullah II of Jordan delivered Jordan’s statement at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, convened to address the recent 'Israeli' attack on Qatar.

In his speech, the King expressed Jordan’s full support for Qatar, assuring Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that Jordan stands with the Qatari people and government in protecting their security, stability, and sovereignty. “Qatar’s security is our security, and its stability is our stability,” he said, underlining the depth of Jordan’s commitment.

The King strongly condemned the 'Israeli' strike on Doha, noting it comes two years after the start of 'Israel’s' brutal war on Gaza, a period during which Israel has repeatedly violated international law and human values. He warned that Israel’s ongoing illegal actions in the West Bank undermine the two-state solution and diminish prospects for a just and lasting peace.

Highlighting regional implications, King Abdullah pointed out that 'Israel' continues to threaten the security of Lebanon and Syria, and now has extended its aggression to Qatar’s sovereignty and safety. He criticized the 'Israeli' government for overstepping international norms, emphasizing that it continues to act above the law because the international community has allowed it to do so.

The King called on the Arab and Islamic world to reassess all mechanisms of collective action to confront the dangers posed by 'Israel’s' extremist policies. He urged the summit to issue practical decisions that would provide a clear, decisive, and deterrent response to Israeli aggression.

“The attack on Qatar proves that the Israeli threat knows no boundaries. Our response must be clear, firm, and deterrent,” King Abdullah concluded, stressing the need for unity and coordinated action among Arab and Islamic nations.
