An 'Israeli' airstrike hit the Haret Hreik area in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Wednesday, with Lebanese reports saying the attack involved three missiles. 'Israeli' media, including Channel 12, said it was the first strike in Beirut in around a month since the ceasefire was announced. 'Israeli' Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed the target was a commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force. A joint statement attributed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Katz said the strike was aimed at eliminating the commander, accusing him of responsibility for attacks against 'Israeli' settlements and troops.
