Iran claims strikes on US "hideouts in Dubai"
- Iran reported destruction and damage to refueling planes, drones, and facilities.
- It said attacks respond to strikes on its civilian infrastructure.
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced a series of operations targeting US military assets and allied infrastructure across the region, describing the attacks as a response to strikes on its civilian industries.
In a statement, the command said it had targeted five US aerial refueling aircraft at Al Kharj Air Base, adding that “two were completely destroyed” while “three others were rendered inoperable due to severe damage.” It said the total number of US refueling aircraft targeted since the start of the war has reached 10.
The statement also claimed strikes on locations in Dubai, including what it described as “hideouts for American personnel,” resulting in “heavy human losses.” It added that a warehouse storing anti-drone systems allegedly supporting US forces was destroyed, noting that “21 Ukrainians were present at the site.”
Iran further said it targeted industrial facilities linked to US interests and ‘Israeli’ industries, as well as a “strategic electronic warfare center” and radar systems in Haifa using drones. It also claimed to have struck fuel storage facilities at Ben Gurion Air Base.
Additionally, the command reported downing a US MQ-9 Reaper over Shiraz and damaging an F-16 Fighting Falcon in southern Fars Province.
