'Israeli' Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich posted a photo on March 17, 2026, from a hospital bedside praying for his son, who was wounded by shrapnel in his back and liver during combat on the Lebanon border.

In the photo, Smotrich wears a Tallit and Tefillin. He wrote in Hebrew:

"Good morning. After another night next to our hero, who has, thank God, a slightly calmer condition than yesterday. We continue to move forward, God willing. Please continue to pray for the recovery of my son, Hebron ben Revital, along with all IDF wounded and sick Israelis."

He added that his son's condition is now stable following medical treatment.
