  • US Justice Department documents show emails between Elon Musk, his brother Kimbal, and convicted sex offender
  • Jeffrey Epstein, including attempts to schedule a visit to Epstein’s Caribbean island.
  • None of the correspondence resulted in a meeting, and Musk has denied any inappropriate involvement.

The US Justice Department recently released 3.5 million pages of documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein, which include references to Elon Musk, his brother Kimbal, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and other high-profile figures.

According to reporting by The Guardian, the newly revealed emails show Musk in 2012 and 2013 discussing with Epstein the possibility of visiting Little Saint James Island, the notorious Caribbean property linked to Epstein’s crimes.

In a December 13, 2013 email, Musk wrote:

“I will be in the British Virgin Islands during the holidays… is there a good time to visit?”
Epstein replied:

“Any day from 1 to 8. Pick what works, there’s always a spot for you.”
Musk and Epstein later agreed on January 2 as a potential date, but logistical issues prevented the visit. Musk confirmed in a January 2, 2013 email that:

“The logistics won’t work this time.”

Early 2012 Communications

In November 2012, Epstein emailed Musk asking how many people would accompany him on a helicopter trip to the island. Musk responded:

“Probably just Talulah and me,” referencing his then-wife Talulah Riley.
The emails indicate no actual visit took place, with Musk citing logistical constraints.

Kimbal Musk’s Correspondence

The documents also show that Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, a Tesla board member, exchanged emails with Epstein and his associate Boris Nikolic in 2012.

In one email, Kimbal thanked the couple for introducing him to a woman named Jennifer. Nikolic replied:

“Kimbal, just so you know, it’s best to be nice to Jen… Jeffrey gets upset when his girls are mistreated.”

Musk Denials

Elon Musk has previously denied any involvement with Epstein beyond a brief meeting, stating he met Epstein only once for a short period. Musk also denied knowing Epstein’s close associate Ghislaine Maxwell, explaining that a photo of them at a Vanity Fair event was coincidental.

Musk added that he visited Epstein’s Manhattan apartment for about 30 minutes with Talulah Riley as part of research for a book she was writing, without specifying the date.

The documents shed light on the broader network of Epstein’s contacts but do not indicate any illegal activity on the part of the Musk brothers.
