Red Bull Padel Dash: Jordan team crowned world champions at the fastest padel final on earth
The Andalusian capital became the global epicenter of amateur padel as it hosted the World Final of Red Bull Padel Dash, a tournament that redefines speed, strategy and adrenaline on court. Over two intense days, competition, talent and emotion took over the ICÓNICO Sports Social Club, where the world’s fastest pairs battled for glory. Here is all you need to know:
- Red Bull Padel Dash stands out for its groundbreaking rules. Matches are driven by pure speed — the first team to reach 16 points earns the right to “run to the button” and stop play across all courts. If no pair reaches that target, the game automatically ends after seven minutes, keeping constant pressure on players and fans alike. The iconic red button became the ultimate judge and symbol of the competition.
- Friday marked the start of the World Final with a thrilling group phase that brought together teams from 14 countries in an all-against-all format. The first encounters showcased the incredible level of play and quick adaptation of all participants to this high-speed format.
- In the women’s draw, Egypt’s duo shone from the opening matches, asserting themselves as early favourites with a crucial win over Estonia. Italy and Mexico also delivered spectacular points that lit up the Andalusian courts.
- The men’s division was even more balanced, featuring standout performances from Estonia, Jordan, Egypt and Peru. The race for the red button was constant, with players pressing it at lightning pace and forcing rivals to stay sharp until the very last second.
- After the preliminary phase, the top eight pairs in both the men’s and women’s categories advanced directly to the Final Stage, while the six remaining duos moved into a separate consolation phase.
- To wrap up the opening day, participants enjoyed a special exhibition with world champion Juan Lebrón, who joined players on court and hosted a Meet & Greet, sharing advice and stories from the professional tour.
- Saturday’s action brought the most intense matches of the weekend, with every pair chasing not only points but also the prestige of the world title. In Group B, Chile claimed the women’s title by a single point, while Italy powered through to take the men’s crown with consistency and precision.
- In Group A, the overall world champions were crowned: Egypt in the women’s category and Jordan in the men’s —decided by just one point, in a finale that kept the entire crowd on its feet.
- Sebastian Guzman, representing Jordan and overall men’s winner, said: “I’m really happy to have represented Jordan in this incredible event. From the moment I competed in Jordan, the organization was amazing, and when we arrived in Seville, the way we were welcomed and supported was unbelievable. Every experience has been beautiful — it’s left me speechless.”
- Manuel Jesús Fernández, also representing Jordan and World Champion said: “I’m so proud to have represented Jordan and to share this experience with incredible people, said Guzman. The organization was amazing from start to finish in Jordan and here in Seville. It's been unforgettable.”
- Female World Champion, Egypt’s Laila El Nimr enjoyed the experience: “Winning the world title was amazing. We really liked it and enjoyed every second. We’ve played at a high level. We love the format, because it gives you more motivation to compete at your best”.
- In addition to the main competition, some lucky challenge winners had the unique opportunity to take part in exhibition rallies with Red Bull athletes Ale Galan and Bea Gonzalez. Fans got to experience the thrill of rallying with world-class players, creating unforgettable moments both on and off the court.
- Spanish padel star and Red Bull athlete Bea González shared her enthusiasm for the innovative Red Bull Padel Dash format: “I really enjoy the Red Bull Padel Dash format because it reflects the way I like to play fast, explosive, and instinctive. It’s all about quick points and powerful winners, and I’d love to give it a try soon”.
- The Red Bull Padel Dash World Final was a celebration of speed, energy and innovation. Between rotations and matches, players and fans shared a festival atmosphere of music, movement and pure adrenaline.
