VIDEO: Jordan receives 14th group of sick children from Gaza under medical corridor initiative

The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army- on Sunday received the 14th group of sick children from the Gaza Strip as part of the country’s ongoing humanitarian effort, the “Jordanian Medical Corridor,” aimed at providing medical and humanitarian support to Palestinians.

The 14th batch included 33 child patients, accompanied by 84 family members. Upon arrival in Jordan, the patients will be transferred to specialized hospitals to receive necessary treatment, coordinated closely with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The humanitarian initiative, launched in early March under direct royal directives, continues to be executed by the Jordanian Armed Forces in cooperation with relevant authorities. Since its inception, Jordan has received a total of 916 people from Gaza, including 265 patients, most of them children, and 651 accompanying family members. Transfers have been conducted via both land and air to ensure immediate medical care.

The Jordanian Armed Forces emphasized that the operations reflect the Kingdom’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to alleviating their suffering under difficult conditions.

“The Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to fulfill its humanitarian duties in line with the royal vision, providing all possible assistance to families in Gaza,” the JAF said in a statement.
