Jordan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Fuad Majali, reiterated the kingdom’s firm rejection of the minister’s repeated incursions, facilitated by ‘Israeli’ police, describing them as a clear violation of the historical and legal status of the site and an attempt to impose temporal and spatial division.
Majali called on ’Israel’ to halt these violations and provocative acts by extremist members of the government.
He described them as part of a broader policy of escalation and illegal unilateral measures in the occupied West Bank and a continued desecration of Jerusalem’s Islamic and Christian holy sites.
