Hamas comments on 'Israeli' abuse of Sumud flotilla activists
The Hamas movement has condemned the reported mistreatment of activists aboard the “Global Sumud Flotilla” by ‘Israeli’ forces, calling the incidents further evidence of what it described as ongoing violations of human rights and international law.
In a statement on Monday, Hamas said testimonies shared by the detained activists reveal “inhumane treatment,” including humiliation, abuse, and deprivation of basic rights during and after their detention in international waters.

The movement urged international bodies to document these violations and take immediate legal action to hold ‘Israeli’ leaders accountable before the International Criminal Court and other competent national courts.
Hamas emphasized that such steps are vital to uphold justice, defend human values, and protect the Palestinian people, who continue to face siege, starvation, and what it described as ongoing genocide in Gaza.
