Gaza's death toll rises to 67,160

• Gaza Health Ministry reports 21 killed and 96 injured in past 24 hours, many trapped under rubble.

• This comes as ceasefire talks are scheduled to start in Egypt as US urges temporary halt to strikes. 

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported Monday that 21 people were killed and 96 others injured in the past 24 hours. 

Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, as medical and civil defense teams struggle to reach them.

The ministry also reported that two people among the casualties were killed while waiting for aid, with 19 others wounded.

Hospitals in Gaza remain on the brink of collapse as fuel and essential supplies, including blood, grow increasingly scarce, the ministry warned.

This comes as Gaza’s ceasefire talks are set to begin in Egypt, while US President Trump urged ‘Israel’ to temporarily halt strikes on the enclave.
