VIDEO: Five injured as building under construction collapses in Irbid, Jordan

Five people were injured on Thursday after a building under construction collapsed in Irbid, Roya correspondent reported.

According to the Roya correspondent on the scene, the injuries occurred when a concrete slab fell on individuals present at the site. Emergency teams are continuing to search for others who may be trapped following the collapse.

Security forces and medical teams worked swiftly to evacuate the injured, with three of the victims transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Later updates confirmed that all those injured in the collapse had been safely evacuated by civil defense teams.
