Jordan army foils infiltration attempt, arrests 4 at northern border

The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) – the Northern Military Commander – thwarted an attempt by four individuals to illegally cross the Jordanian border today, Tuesday.

A statement by the JAF said that border guards detected the four people as they tried to infiltrate into the kingdom.

The guards applied the rules of engagement, leading to the arrest of all four suspects. The individuals were handed over to the relevant security authorities for legal action, the statement concluded.
