The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to pressure ‘Israel’ into reopening Al-Karama crossing (King Hussein Bridge), the only gateway connecting over three million Palestinians in the West Bank to the outside world.

Palestine has instructed its embassies and diplomatic missions worldwide to take urgent action at the highest levels and reverse the closure, implemented under direct orders from the ‘Israeli’ Prime Minister, and to mobilize immediate international pressure for its reversal.

The ministry highlighted the severe humanitarian and economic impact, noting that thousands, including students, patients, and businesspeople, are now unable to reach work, schools, or medical treatment abroad.

It framed the closure as part of ‘Israel’s’ broader policy of gradual annexation, military control, and isolation of Palestinian communities, warning that it undermines any prospects for a “two-state solution.”
