Gaza’s death toll rises to 65,382

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported Tuesday that 38 people were killed and 190 others injured in the past 24 hours. 

Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, as medical and civil defense teams struggle to reach them.

The ministry also reported that three people among the casualties were killed while waiting for aid, with 15 others wounded.

The strip’s 2.4 million residents have been under a complete border siege since March 2, a measure that has pushed northern Gaza into confirmed famine, with expectations that it will spread southward by the end of September, according to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).
