Hamas holds Netanyahu fully responsible for captives’ lives

In a strongly worded statement on Tuesday, Hamas held 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fully responsible for the lives of the captives in Gaza. 

The group also accused the US administration for bearing “direct responsibility" in escalating the “brutal genocide” in the enclave.

It added that the US is well aware that Netanyahu is working to destroy all chances of reaching an agreement that would release the captives and halt the ‘Israeli’ aggression on Gaza.

The movement called the attack on Qatar and the attempted assassination of Hamas leaders discussing Trump’s proposal as the latest chapter in the systematic destruction of negotiations, noting it came at a critical moment that could have led to an agreement.

Hamas emphasized that it showed “maximum flexibility to halt the genocide against our people,” but the ‘Israeli’ government consistently thwarted every attempt through assassinations and massacres.
