‘Israeli’ raid in Shuafat camp leaves young man shot in head
‘Israeli’ forces stormed the home of Mohammad Mahmoud Shawamreh in Shuafat refugee camp on Friday, accusing him of carrying out a stabbing attack in Jerusalem earlier on Friday which killed two 'Israeli' settlers.
During the raid, a young man was shot in the head by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and transferred to hospital with critical injuries.
The raid sparked heightened tensions in the area.

Hebrew media outlets, including Channel 12, initially reported that the suspect of the Jerusalem stabbing is a Palestinian from territories occupied in 1948, who got arrested at the scene.
This marks the second attack after a shooting at a bus stop in east Jerusalem killed seven people and left several others wounded last week, ‘Israeli’ authorities reported.
Police confirmed that the two gunmen were killed at the scene. “A security officer and a civilian at the scene responded immediately, returned fire, and neutralized the attackers,” a police statement said.
Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the bus shooting and hailed the two attackers as martyrs.
