Displaced Palestinians in the Gaza strip
Egypt stands firm, rejects ‘Israeli’ plans to displace Gazans: Hebrew Media
While ‘Israel’ discusses a plan to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, Egypt continues making its stance clear in rejecting it, Hebrew media reported.
‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the proposal during the latest cabinet session, highlighting that it involves air and sea deportation routes and could begin next month, according to Channel 12.
Netanyahu is expected to present the plan to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his upcoming visit to Tel Aviv.

The report added that ‘Israel’ has already contacted several countries to receive Palestinians, though it remains doubtful about the plan’s feasibility.
Some ministers urged Netanyahu to persuade Egypt to allow displaced Palestinians to pass through its territory, an option Netanyahu himself doubted would succeed.
In a decisive response, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry rejected any displacement schemes, denouncing them as “an unacceptable Israeli policy aimed at emptying Palestinian land.”
The ministry stressed that Egypt “will not accept or participate in this historic injustice,” warning that such a step would inevitably mean “the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.”
Cairo further described the plans as “a war crime and an act of ethnic cleansing” that violate international law, calling on world governments not to be complicit in what it labeled “an immoral crime.”
