‘Israeli’ forces besiege Palestinian villages, shut roads after Jerusalem attack

‘Israeli’ military imposed a tight siege on villages northwest of occupied Jerusalem on Monday, following a shooting attack earlier today which left at least seven people dead and several others wounded, according to a Roya correspondent.

He added that forces closed all military checkpoints along the road leading to Ramallah, causing severe traffic congestion.

According to details provided by the correspondent, the punitive measures included shutting down all military checkpoints along the main road to Ramallah in the northern West Bank.

He noted that only one road remained open for Palestinians to move, which immediately led to traffic bottlenecks and heavy jams, significantly hindering transportation in the area.
