A deadly shooting attack at Ramot Junction in northern Jerusalem on Monday morning has left at least seven people dead and several others wounded, according to 'Israeli' emergency services.

Magen David Adom, 'Israel’s' national emergency service, said its teams pronounced the deaths of five victims at the scene. Multiple injuries were reported and were evacuated to nearby hospitals in critical condition.

The shooting occurred around 10:13 am local time (07:13 GMT), when two assailants reportedly boarded a bus and opened fire on passengers, according to Channel 12. Police confirmed that both attackers were “neutralized” shortly after the incident. Channel 14 reported that roughly 20 people were injured in total.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir arrived at the scene shortly after the attack.

The attack also disrupted the schedule of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s criminal trial. The Jerusalem District Court canceled Netanyahu’s planned testimony for today in light of the events, instructing his lawyers to respond by 2 pm to the prosecution’s request to reschedule the hearing for tomorrow.
