After several days of warmer-than-usual weather, temperatures are expected to ease slightly on Sunday, bringing conditions closer to the seasonal average across much of the Kingdom.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the day will feel pleasantly mild in most regions, though the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to see summer-like heat. Scattered low clouds may develop, and northwesterly winds will blow at moderate speeds, occasionally strengthening.

Forecasters say this stable weather pattern should hold through Wednesday, with comfortable temperatures persisting across most of the country. Hot conditions, however, will remain in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with northwesterly winds picking up at intervals.

For Sunday, expected highs and lows are as follows:

  • East Amman: 31°C / 18°C

  • West Amman: 29°C / 16°C

  • Northern Highlands: 27°C / 15°C

  • Sharah Mountains: 26°C / 14°C

  • Desert Areas: 34°C / 19°C

  • Plains: 31°C / 18°C

  • Northern Jordan Valley: 38°C / 20°C

  • Southern Jordan Valley: 40°C / 26°C

  • Dead Sea and Aqaba: 39°C / 25°C
