Former Jordanian MP, son killed in fight in Amman

A former Jordanian MP and his son were killed on Tuesday following a violent altercation in a northern district of Amman, authorities reported.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified as a cousin of the deceased, who will be referred to the Public Prosecutor of Major Crimes.

The wife of the former deputy was injured in a separate family dispute that took place in the same area on Tuesday evening.

A source close to the investigation stated that the bodies of the father and son were transferred to the forensic medicine department at the University of Jordan for examination to determine the exact cause of death.
