‘Israeli’ officer killed by army explosives in south Gaza’s Khan Younis

An ‘Israeli’ officer was killed in south Gaza today, in an “apparent accident” with an explosive device, according to a military probe cited by Hebrew media.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said that Lieutenant Ori Gerlic, a platoon commander in the fir Brigade’s Shimshon Battalion, was killed on Saturday in south Gaza, without providing further other details.

An initial probe by the military, according to Hebrew media, said he was killed by an ‘Israeli’ explosive in Khan Younis that detonated for reasons unknown so far, adding that investigations will continue.
