28 children killed every day in Gaza by "Israeli" attacks, says UNICEF
An average of 28 children are being killed every day in Gaza by "Israel", the equivalent of a classroom wiped out daily, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which renewed urgent calls for an immediate ceasefire.
“Death by bombardments. Death by malnutrition and starvation. Death by lack of aid and vital services,” UNICEF said Monday in a post on X. “In Gaza, an average of 28 children a day, the size of a classroom, have been killed.”

The agency stressed that children in the besieged enclave are in desperate need of food, clean water, medicine, and protection, adding: “More than anything, they need a ceasefire, NOW.”
Since October 7, 2023, when "Israel" began its genocide on Gaza, more than 18,000 children have been killed, an average of one child every hour.
At least 61,158 Palestinians have been killed and 151,442 others wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
In the last 24 hours alone, Gaza’s hospitals have received 138 people killed and 771 injured. Among them, 87 were killed and 570 were injured while attempting to reach humanitarian aid.
Five additional deaths due to famine and severe malnutrition were recorded in the same period, raising the total number of such deaths to 193, nearly half of them children.
"Israel’s" continued military campaign, coupled with its restrictions on humanitarian access, has devastated the enclave’s healthcare system and pushed Gaza to an actual famine.
Despite mounting international pressure, "Israel" has rejected calls for a ceasefire and continues its assault.
