Jordanian army thwarts infiltration attempt near northern border

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Jordanian Northern Command – foiled an attempted border infiltration early Wednesday, according to an official military statement.

A person was caught trying to illegally cross the northern border within the region’s area of responsibility. A rapid response patrol was dispatched immediately, leading to the individual’s arrest.

The suspect was transferred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

The army reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the Kingdom’s borders and confronting any threats to national security.
