Jordan is experiencing hot and dry conditions Saturday, with a notable rise in temperatures across most areas. Highs are expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius in the southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Moderate to occasionally strong northwesterly winds will kick up dust, especially in desert regions.

The Jordan Meteorological Department has warned against prolonged direct sun exposure, particularly during peak afternoon hours, urging citizens to take precautions to avoid heat stress and sunstroke. The department also cautioned about potential reduced visibility in desert areas Saturday afternoon due to dust stirred by strong winds.

Hot conditions are forecast to continue Sunday with similar weather. On Monday and Tuesday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly, though conditions will remain hot to very hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will persist, occasionally causing dust in desert areas.

Expected temperatures Saturday range from 37 C in East Amman to 26 C in West Amman. Desert areas could see highs of 41 C , while the southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba are forecast to hit 45 C. Residents are advised to adhere to health safety guidelines amidst the hot desert conditions.
