Jordanian army downs drone attempting to infiltrate western border

A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced on Friday that the Southern Military Zone, in coordination with other military security agencies, successfully thwarted an attempted drone infiltration along the country’s western border.

The source stated that Border Guard forces detected and tracked the drone's path before engaging it under established rules of engagement, ultimately downing it inside Jordanian territory. The drone has since been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

The source reaffirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army continue to carry out their duties with high efficiency and vigilance, determined to prevent any attempts to threaten the nation's security and stability.
