Army downs drone attempting to infiltrate Jordan from west

The Jordanian Armed Forces' (JAF) Southern Command, in coordination with military security agencies, thwarted an attempted drone infiltration on its western front Tuesday, the JAF said in a statement today.

Border guard forces applied rules of engagement after detecting and tracking the drone. The drone was shot down within Jordanian territory and has been referred to specialized authorities for further action, the statement said.
