Jordan is expected to experience typical summer weather across most regions until Sunday, but temperatures will begin a gradual climb starting Monday, peaking Tuesday as a hot air mass affects the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Today, Saturday, temperatures will see a slight drop, making for moderate to relatively hot conditions in most areas, while remaining hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some low clouds are also expected in northern and central parts of the Kingdom, with moderate northwesterly winds that may occasionally strengthen in desert areas.

Sunday will see similar conditions, with normal summer weather in the highlands and plains, and hot temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Badia, and Aqaba, with occasional gusty winds.

Temperatures are forecast to rise slightly on Monday, making most areas relatively hot, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain extremely hot.

The peak of the heatwave is expected on Tuesday, as a hot air mass causes a significant rise in temperatures. This will result in hot conditions across most regions and extremely hot weather in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with occasional northwesterly winds in the Badia.
