Jordanian army thwarts infiltration attempt on northern border

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced on Friday that the Northern Military Region successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the kingdom’s northern border.

According to an official statement, a person was caught attempting to illegally cross the border. Troops apprehended the individual before he could complete the crossing.

The suspect was handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal procedures, the statement added.
