Jordan braces for continued heat, slight relief expected Saturday

Temperatures across Jordan on Friday are expected to remain 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above their seasonal averages. Most areas will experience relatively hot to hot conditions during daylight hours, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will endure extremely hot weather.

A slight decrease in temperatures is anticipated on Saturday, bringing normal to relatively hot summer conditions to some areas.

Gusty Winds, Dust Expected; Pleasant Evenings Forecast

Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally strengthening during afternoon hours. These winds may lead to dust and stirred-up sand in some exposed areas, particularly in the Badia region and eastern plains.

As evening approaches, temperatures will gradually decline, making for pleasant nights in the mountainous regions and plains, and moderate conditions elsewhere, including the capital, Amman.

Temperatures will remain relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Overall, the evenings are expected to be ideal for outdoor gatherings and excursions, especially in higher elevations and plains.
