In a significant development during ongoing ceasefire negotiations, 'Israel' has reportedly agreed in principle to a key Hamas demand: that Qatar and other nations begin injecting funds for Gaza's reconstruction during a potential ceasefire.

According to a report published in Ynet, 'Israel' has conceded on the principle of early reconstruction funding, but it is insisting that not only Qatar but also other countries participate in directing these resources.

However, regional players like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are allegedly currently holding back, refusing to commit to aid before 'Israel' provides a firm commitment to a full cessation of hostilities.

The issue of reconstruction funding was allegedly a prominent topic during recent talks in Washington D.C., involving a Qatari delegation and discussions held during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit.

Despite this progress, a major stumbling block in the negotiations remains the Morag axis. Hamas has so far refused to agree to a deal that includes 'Israel's' continued deployment along this strategic route, even after 'Israel' presented a new proposal for partial remaining. The Morag axis, described by Netanyahu three months ago as the "second Philadelphia axis," is situated between Khan Yunis and Rafah in southern Gaza.
