Gradual rise in temperatures across Jordan; slight relief expected Sunday
Jordan's Meteorological Department announced Thursday that the Kingdom will experience a gradual rise in temperatures over the coming days, with weather conditions remaining relatively hot to very hot in most regions. A slight drop in temperatures is expected starting Sunday.
On Thursday, relatively hot weather is forecast for most areas, while the Jordan Valley, desert regions, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience hotter conditions. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally active in desert areas.
At night, the weather will be generally mild across the country, though conditions will remain relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Temperatures will climb slightly on Friday, making the weather hot in most regions and very hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue to blow from the northwest at moderate speeds.
Nighttime conditions will remain mild across most parts of the Kingdom, with relatively hot weather persisting in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
