05-07-2025 13:40|Jordan's Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Farrayeh said Saturday that 97,000 Syrian refugees have voluntarily returned to Syria, since the Bashar Al-Assad regime was toppled in December, 2024.
The minister also stated that the Jaber border crossing experienced its highest volume of passenger and cargo traffic since its opening, occurring just before the recent Eid al-Adha holiday.
He added that Jaber is now the third busiest border crossing for passenger movement, following Queen Alia International Airport and the Al-Omari border crossing.
