King sends cable to Algeria's President on Independence Day

His Majesty King Abdullah II has sent a cable to Algeria President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the occasion of his country’s independence day, expressing best wishes to him, and wishing the people of Algeria further progress and prosperity.

Algeria's Independence Day is celebrated on July 5th every year. It marks the country's liberation from 132 years of French colonial rule and the official declaration of independence on July 5, 1962. As of July 5, 2025, Algeria has been independent for 63 years.
