Cooler weather expected across Jordan starting Monday

Temperatures are forecast to drop noticeably across Jordan on Monday, settling around seasonal averages for this time of year, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The weather will be mild in most regions and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds are expected at varying altitudes, with moderate westerly winds that may become active at times, stirring dust, especially in desert areas.

The weather will remain consistent on Tuesday, with mild conditions across most parts of the country and continued relative heat in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, and winds will continue to be moderate westerlies, occasionally picking up and raising dust in desert regions.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather is expected to be pleasantly mild in most areas and moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with cloud cover at varying altitudes. Northwesterly winds will be moderate and occasionally active, especially in desert regions.
