Moderately hot weather today, temperatures dropping from tomorrow
Today, Saturday, the weather will be relatively hot in most areas, and very hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Some high-altitude clouds will appear, and winds will be moderate, coming from the northeast.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department’s report, temperatures will slightly drop on Sunday, with moderate weather over the high mountain ranges and hot conditions in other regions. Some medium and high-altitude clouds will appear, and moderate northwesterly winds will become active during midday, potentially stirring up dust in the desert areas.
On Monday, there will be a slight decrease in temperatures, with mild weather in most regions and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some medium and high-altitude clouds will appear, and moderate southwesterly winds will increase in strength during the afternoon, possibly causing dust in desert areas.
Tuesday will see another slight drop in temperatures, with overall mild weather and some medium and high-altitude clouds. Winds will be moderate from the northwest, with occasional gusts that could stir dust, particularly in desert areas.
The maximum and minimum temperatures for today in East Amman will range between 34°C and 18°C, in West Amman between 32°C and 16°C, in the northern highlands between 30°C and 17°C, in the Sharah highlands between 31°C and 15°C, in desert areas between 36°C and 17°C, in the plains between 34°C and 19°C, in the northern Jordan Valley between 39°C and 20°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 39°C and 22°C, at the Dead Sea between 39°C and 21°C, and in Aqaba between 40°C and 23°C.
