Ideal weather conditions for outdoor activities across Jordan on Friday

Jordan will experience mild and pleasant spring weather on Friday across most regions, with warmer conditions expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Low clouds are expected to appear over northern and central parts of the country, while moderate westerly winds may pick up at times, particularly in desert areas.

With moderate temperatures forecast, the highlands and plains are expected to be ideal destinations for outdoor activities and nature outings.

High temperatures in the northern highlands and the Sharah mountains will range between 19°C and 20°C, offering comfortable conditions for hiking and picnics.

The plains will see similarly pleasant weather, with highs around 23°C — suitable for families seeking mild spring days. For those preferring warmer weather, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba will offer slightly hotter conditions.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, with continued mild to warm conditions across most areas. Low clouds may linger, and moderate westerly winds will persist, occasionally becoming active.

By Sunday and Monday, temperatures are expected to remain mild, with variable cloud cover. Scattered showers are forecast during the afternoon, especially in southern regions, and may be accompanied by thunder. Northwesterly winds will be moderate but may stir up dust in desert areas during the afternoon.
