Lebanese army raids Captagon manufacturing facility near Syrian border

The Lebanese Army announced in an official statement that it carried out a raid on a Captagon pill manufacturing facility in Hermel, near the Lebanese-Syrian border.

The army reported seizing a large quantity of Captagon pills, along with raw materials used in their production.

According to the statement, the operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat the manufacturing and trafficking of drugs. The unit was able to completely dismantle the facility.

The Lebanese Army added that the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and an investigation has been launched to identify those involved.
