Qassam fighters launch deadly ambush on "Israeli" soldiers

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, carried out a complex ambush operation targeting an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) engineering unit on foot near the separation fence in the Al-Farahin area, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

According to a statement issued by Al-Qassam, the fighters struck the unit with an anti-personnel shell and then engaged in close-quarters combat using automatic weapons, resulting in several IOF soldiers being killed or wounded.

Following the clash, the Qassam combat unit continued the operation by targeting two tanks and a military bulldozer belonging to the occupation army with “Yassin 105” shells, leading to the destruction and disabling of the targeted vehicles.
