Lufthansa suspends Tel Aviv flights until May 6

Germany’s Lufthansa Group has announced that it will continue halting all flights to Tel Aviv through May 6, citing the current regional security conditions.

A spokesperson for the airline confirmed the decision on Sunday.

"Israel’s" Channel 12 reported on Sunday morning that all incoming and outgoing flights at Ben Gurion International Airport were suspended following a missile attack launched from Yemen.

The channel confirmed that explosions were heard near the airport, triggering panic and sending millions rushing to shelters.

According to media reports, the ballistic missile launched from the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, succeeded in breaching "Israel’s" air defense systems, leading to the suspension of air traffic at the airport.
