Jordanian army foils infiltration attempt from Syria

A military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army said Friday that it foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual trying to illegally cross from Syrian territory into Jordan.

The source said the rules of engagement were applied, and the individual was arrested and handed over to the relevant authorities.

The Jordanian Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to firmly confronting all forms of infiltration and smuggling attempts to safeguard the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
