US news outlet Axios has revealed that a secret meeting took place in Paris between senior 'Israeli' officials and US President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, just one day before the second round of US-Iran nuclear negotiations set to begin in Rome on Saturday.

According to Hebrew media sources familiar with the meeting, Israeli Occupation's Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer, led the 'Israeli' delegation, which also included Mossad chief David Barnea.

The meeting reportedly aimed to exert pressure on the US delegation and provide last-minute intelligence related to Iran’s nuclear file. However, the content of that information was not disclosed.

Observers suggest that Tel Aviv is concerned the Trump administration may offer concessions to Tehran during the negotiations—moves that 'Israeli' officials fear could undermine regional security.

During the meeting, Witkoff reportedly reaffirmed that the Trump administration is committed to resolving the Iranian nuclear crisis through diplomatic means, with the ultimate goal of reaching an agreement that prevents Iran from enriching uranium.

Speaking to reporters, President Donald Trump stated: "I don’t want to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, but Iran must never possess nuclear weapons. We don’t want to harm them, take their land, or seize their industry—we just want to stop them from having a nuclear weapon."

Israeli Occupation effort coincided with the arrival of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Rome, following a visit to Moscow where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the upcoming negotiations with the United States.
