Qassam Brigades announce series of attacks on 'Israeli' forces in southern Gaza

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Friday that its fighters carried out a series of “specialized military operations” targeting 'Israeli' forces in the Qizan an-Najjar area, located south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the brigades said that on Thursday, fighters struck three 'Israeli' D9 military bulldozers using Yassin-105 rockets, Shawaz explosive devices, and barrel bombs, claiming direct hits on the targeted vehicles.

The group added that on Wednesday, its fighters detonated three powerful explosive devices on two similar bulldozers in the same area, causing significant damage.

In what the group described as a “carefully planned ambush,” Al-Qassam said its fighters lured an 'Israeli' force into a booby-trapped tunnel near Qizan an-Najjar. Once several soldiers entered the tunnel, it was detonated with multiple explosive charges, resulting in casualties among the 'Israeli' troops.
