Incoming German govt vows to “significantly” boost defense spending
Germany's incoming coalition government vowed Wednesday to "significantly" boost defence spending amid growing concerns about US commitment to European security under President Donald Trump.

"Spending on our defence must increase significantly... by the end of the legislative period," the conservative CDU/CSU and centre-left Social Democrats wrote in their coalition agreement.
