The Ministry of Health in Gaza had earlier announced that the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the "Israeli" assault on October 7, 2023, has risen to 211.
It was also confirmed that journalist Helmi al-Faqawi and young man Youssef Al-Khazindar were killed in the same strike, while nine other journalists were injured in and around the targeted area.
The Ministry called on the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all press organizations around the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media workers in Gaza.
It also urged the international community, international organizations, and media-related institutions worldwide to denounce "Israel’s" crimes, hold it accountable, and pursue its perpetrators through international courts to bring them to justice.
