The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has condemned what it described as the deliberate targeting of medics by 'Israeli' forces in Rafah, citing newly surfaced video footage taken by one of the victims.

In a statement issued Saturday, Hamas said that footage recovered from the phone of paramedic martyr Rifaat Radwan — one of 14 Palestinian medics whose bodies were recently discovered in a mass grave in Rafah — reveals a “horrific premeditated field execution” carried out by 'Israeli' forces.

The group said the video offers undeniable evidence of a deliberate 'Israeli' attack on ambulance and civil defense teams as they carried out their humanitarian duties to rescue the wounded.

“This shocking footage is not just a tragic scene,” the statement said, “but a damning document that exposes the brutality of the occupation, its blatant violation of international laws and conventions, and its deliberate attempts to conceal the crime by burying the victims in mass graves and erasing the truth.”

Hamas added that the incident is part of a broader pattern of 'Israeli' aggression against emergency responders and civilians in Gaza, questioning the silence of the international community.

“This crime is one in a long series of attacks on ambulance crews, civil defense workers, and humanitarian missions, as well as ongoing violations against unarmed civilians in Gaza,” the group stated. “It raises serious questions about the shameful international silence that continues to offer cover for these crimes.”
