Video proves 'Israeli' military "deliberately" targeted ambulances in Gaza
A video from late March shows 'Israeli' troops opening fire on aid workers in Gaza, contradicting Israeli Occupation’s claim that the vehicles were advancing suspiciously without emergency lights. The UN confirmed the workers’ deaths, and the video, obtained from a paramedic’s phone, shows ambulances and a fire truck clearly marked with emergency signals being hit by gunfire.
The video, which was presented to the UN Security Council by the Palestine Red Crescent Society, depicts the convoy driving in the early morning hours of March 23, before being ambushed by 'Israeli' forces. The paramedic filming the incident is heard reciting the Muslim declaration of faith, fearing for his life.
The Red Crescent said that the aid workers were not armed and posed no threat. The bodies of the workers, who had gone missing after the attack, were later found in a mass grave, and handcuffed. The UN and the Red Crescent have called for an independent investigation into the incident, citing concerns of potential war crimes by the 'Israeli' military.
Israeli Occupation’s military spokesperson said earlier that the vehicles were suspected of advancing without headlights, but has yet to comment on the video evidence. The UN and human rights organizations have condemned the attack, calling it the deadliest against Red Cross and Red Crescent workers since 2017.
