Hamas mourns leader Hassan Farhat, family

In a statement released on Friday, Hamas expressed profound sorrow for the loss of Hassan Farhat Abu Yaser, a senior Hamas leader, along with his son Hamzah Hassan Farhat and daughter Jinan Hassan Farhat.

The family lost their lives during an Israeli Occupation airstrike that targeted their home in Sidon, southern Lebanon, in the early hours of Friday.

Their statement included a pledge to the people and the broader Arab nation, asserting, “We promise to God Almighty, and then to our people, that we will persist in the path of resistance with all determination and resolve.”

Hamas highlighted that this ongoing struggle represents a fight for victory, ensuring that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain.
