Abu Obaida warns Netanyahu of “Israeli” captives fate
Abu Obaida, spokesperson of Hamas’ military wing Al-Qassam Brigades, said Friday the half of the living “Israeli” captives are currently being held in areas the “Israeli” military has ordered to be evacuated in recent days.
“We have decided not to relocate these captives from these zones, keeping them under strict security measures — though these conditions pose extreme risks to their lives,” Abu Obaida said in a statement on his official Telegram channel.
“If the enemy is concerned about the lives of these captives, it must immediately begin negotiations for their evacuation or release. A warning has been issued,” he continued.
Hamas placed full responsibility for the captives’ lives on the Netanyahu government, saying, “Had it cared, it would have abided by the agreement signed in January — and many of them might have been home today.”
