Trump: Netanyahu may visit US next week

US President Donald Trump revealed Thursday that "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may travel to the US in the near future, possibly as early as next week.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he had a phone conversation with Netanyahu earlier in the day. "I believe he's going to be coming to our country sometime in the not so distant future — maybe next week," Trump stated.

The potential visit comes at a time when "Israel’s" military campaign on Gaza continues to draw global concern, with mounting casualties and a deepening humanitarian crisis in the strip.
